#57 Crushed Gravel

Skipper’s Trucking’s most popular stone for drainage and driveways, this stone is gray in color and about the size of your thumb. This crushed stone holds together better than pea gravel and river rock, providing a solid base for any project.

#4 Crushed Gravel

Crushed gravel is stone roughly 2 inches in size that is gray in color and good for use in heavy wash areas. Gravel is used on steep driveways with water washing issues or on farming roads and hunting trails where driving conditions can become hazardous.

#57 River Rock

Standard river rock is about the size of your thumb and is great for walkways, backfill, and drainage. The color consists of browns and beiges and is perfect for applications where you want larger stones than pea gravel.

Pea Gravel

Pea gravel is a small river rock that’s great for walkways, backfill, and drainage. The color consists of browns and beiges, and the soft edges make it great for high-traffic areas like paths, playgrounds, and work zones. Pea gravel is also used for drainage systems and erosion control.

Masonry Sand

Masonry sand is a clean and washed natural sand product. Sand has a wide range of applications but is processed primarily for use in mortar mix for brick and block laying. It may also be used for pool installations, sanding golf courses, lawns, and play sandboxes.

Fill Sand

Naturally occurring fill sand is good for small holes in yards or leveling uneven areas. Grass will grow in this material, making it great for top coating areas of base dirt to prevent tracking red dirt everywhere. Concrete contractors use this as a 4- to 6-inch topcoat in foundations for ease of final leveling.

Fill Dirt (Fill Soil)

A clay/sand mixture, fill dirt is a base material suitable for backfill where compaction is required. It’s mainly used in foundations or for leveling portions of uneven ground where earth is needed to help grade and fill in low spots.

Class I Riprap

These 25- to 75-pound stones are mainly used in erosion control. We’ll deliver your stone and place it exactly where you need it. These stones come in a variety of sizes, typically between 10 and 12 inches.
